The Reading Campaign

READ ALL ABOUT IT. Reading is happening all over the school and students are encouraging each other to read. The high school students are reading to the younger students in “storytelling” time. Secondary students are reading with their AQC’s and Directors. The activity “share a book” is establishing a foundation to promote reading amongst the students where students of all ages are bringing their favorite books to trade with their peers. Moreover talented students are writing their own creative narratives and sharing them with others to read. Like reading, creative writing celebrates students’ individual intellect while sharing such individuality with others.

Not only are the students participating in the reading campaign, but teachers are also being encouraged to “share a book” in order to endorse a pro-reading environment at school.
